These replacement refs are a F***in joke!!!! How do u get it wrong, even with replay!!! I hope their not Screwing the game up worse than the NHL lockout did their game!!
-
it spices the game up a little! u never know what they will and won't call 😜
-
No ! Why don't you just call a fair game ! I don't need refs to screw teams over, I need them to do their job.
-
This weeks game will break the leagues stance i think... They are going to lose too much money and will bring the real refs back
-
That last "TD" in tonight's game was particularly painful...

As much as i hate to say it, I don't think it will. Where are they going to lose money from? We are all going to tune back in next week, buy merchandise and tickets. Sure they may be a few that won't, but it will just be a blip on the radar. This weeks game will break the leagues stance i think... The nfl doesn't care about their fans, the nfl reports to the owners and the owners for the most part don't care about how the nfl as a whole is ran as long as the $$$ keeps rolling in.

Don't be too sure, living as close to GB as I do and hearing talk of OUR fanbase about a boycott now... This one is going to start to hurt them. Packer fans may bitch about the game but the turnstiles never stop spinning, we will see what is talk and what will be the reality. Last night was an embarrassment, when two refs standing close enough to one another to smell what the other had for lunch are making two different calls the end is near. The two sides were waiting for a blown call to change a game outcome, they got it (and on a national game in prime time).Ғųℵƙψ ☣ ℐøƙヨƦ wrote: ✂

Zero chance refs win.
Owners -2000
Old refs +1800 -

Sadly, I think you're right. And GB being a publicly owned team there is no one owner to complain to the NFL.Ғųℵƙψ ☣ ℐøƙヨƦ wrote:

Yah the refs from the pats game missed so many calls on the ravens

You mean you can't push off the defensive backs before making a catch? And way to review the final FG, thats not really important enough to warrant a replay.Yah the refs from the pats game missed so many calls on the ravens

Ok, calmed down now and looking at things a bit more neutrally. Yes it was a blown call but there is another issue here that comes down to coaching.... Speaking as someone that played D-back from early grade school to a couple levels past high school, my coaches DRILLED into me "if you can't pick it off cleanly KNOCK IT THE HELL DOWN", it's called defending the pass. If that ball hits the ground, game over and no call to blow.

Yep. Giants scored on a Hail Mary in the playoffs last year too. Packers have let that happen in 2 of their last 4 games that counted.Ok, calmed down now and looking at things a bit more neutrally. Golden Tate is a beast! To be able to catch a man, and a football!?!? Dang that's something.

"I don't know what you're talking about"
what a dick!!!!

Wonder how many people had GB winning in their suicide pool? 😠😠

It goes beyond one game. Bullshit calls have been made since the season started. Now the NFL is a joke. I call for boycotting the NFL until the real refs come back.

I second that motion ! -
I'm a packer fan and believe this was a screwed up situation. But nothing will come from it.. Remember the "tuck rule" in the raiders vs patriots game a few years back. The only thing this play will create is some highlight footage when NFL Flims makes the "10 worse referee mistakes" video.

the sad part is this probably wont hurt the nfl position. if ratings dont go down & the networks are happy with their investment all is well for the owners because they get billions. heck controversy is good for ratings talk radio hosts say it all the time. local team wins and you get an average number of calls. team loses and the phones go nuts especially if it was a mess. bet espn is loving this. they get to show it and then rip it 24 hours a day.
