Mini mob takeover if brens come back?
Forums › General Discussion › Mini mob takeover if brens come back?-
I was just thinking of a scenario- say, some people in this game are fed up with people capping them. They form an alliance and take those guys out. Say, they also have some money to burn, and some new loot in the form of te bren gun came back recently. Well, say they also full arm with Brens. Say there are a good 10 or so of them that do so. At first thought this wouldn't be such a big deal, so you'd think. A bunch of pre-5k noobs running around. Woo. Well, there's some reasons that an alliance to this standard could take over the game.

I will not let that happen we must be rebels!!!
-
Massive range coupled with decent power could be killer in Vs. You'd have to be practically on the of them to destroy turf, but they could be 2+km away and cap off 50+ turf at once due to the mob to radius algorithm.
-
Not unless there are like viper and maverick... Their unstoppable and mystery the BIG3
-
This=own.
-
That's why smoke has a sweet setup. The range he has for the power he is packing.... I could be wrong but that's always how I saw it
-
Also, say they decide to take on some bigger players- they recruit someone with a fully armed 20k mob, which is typical for all large scale alliances. They then set up a vendetta system where that player's power is constantly used with three littler players, adding to the decent power they amass as a mini mob plus the range (hurt a bit by the 20k, but not too bad.) Would be enough to take down some huge mobsters.
-
A 5k with Max stam is already a badass if he has the right backers in a v. No need for the brens for him.
-
Not mystery
-
Say they have a taste for destruction instead of construction- they could burn down cities alone, with complete ease. The massive range and power would be enough to topple (by my calculations) up to a no upkeep armed 20k+ mob or an upkeep armed 12k+ mob. This would be cost effective by using very little upkeep (brens are no upkeep.) and the little amount of cap radius you'd have against you if, say, someone didn't like you.
-
Also, it would make it an ease of mind to be capped out of places, because nearly all of your extra money could go to rebuilding turf. Say you're making 5m an hour, a decent income for a typical 5k with a good turf limit. Well, with upkeep for 5k body armors and 5k boots you'd still make 3m give or take a bit an hour. Or you could just go non upkeep and still VERY easily burn through most places.
-
And the amount of people to not take you seriously at all would be extremely high, until they started to see what you could do and scrolled down your weapon list to see that you have brens.
-
All of this would be void if nick decides to not come back out with them. But say he does, think of the possibilities. Just popped into my head that all of this could happen. Either way i'd say now's the time to start stockpiling your DP for christmas, it'll be here before you know it.

So is this what ur gonna do then? Buy brens?

Can you imagine if there was a system that made it so the smaller your mob, the higher chance you have to loot brens?
-
Can you imagine a system that rewarded those that put in the least effort?

How would you "buy Brens"? Isn't it random?

If somebody wasn't willing to put in a couple hours of their time to get more than 5k mob, then why would they be willing to spend $1,000's?

I think you all are forgetting one crucial thing, vendettas last a week. Those who buy hench are rewarded for no effort correct?? Think how differently this game would be in terms of power players if there was no ability to buy hench...💀ṉͥōƀͣōͫƌỷ💀 wrote:

I don't take issue with buying weapons or hench. The devs have to get paid somehow or nobody would be able to play. (No pun intended) my issue is with the notion that smaller players should be given an advantage for loot. If someone puts in the work earning real money and doesn't have time to punch codes I think they earned that mob as much as the next guy. But to put in the work for a big mob and have a bunch of noobs crying because they don't/won't put in the same effort but want the same results is pathetic.

Yea but remember when Brens came out they were only available in one specific mission and loot crate. So by dumping tons of dp into that mission and crate you're basically buying them. How would you "buy Brens"? Isn't it random?

Don't take this as whining guys, I'm not at all. Just sort of a theoretical thing that could happen within the realm of possibility.
-
Mini mob? No it's called low influence mob.
