No its my laptop noone elses unless she has created a profile somehow without me realisimg it. Sorry for changing the subject by the way but my uncle is a computer repair guy and he will look at it in his down time. Thnks for in put guys!

Maybe update to windows 7. ( I think it's 8 now) attack me if I'm wrong 😂 . Might help a little bit vista was garbage IMO.

Windows 8 is an operating system.Safari is a web browser.I prefer chrome over safari.

Using xp u cant get more then 3.5gb of ram used. Also for most games ram is not the foremost limiting factor.. Spend your money on any amd or if u must nvidia card with 1gb memory(best keep it amd as u have a amd board and cpu), install xp and keep it clean as much as possible and it will do just fine. Also There is a apllication made by amd which will turn off all unused services when u start playing a game think it was valled amd fusion..

I did a bit of looking up for you. According to factory specs your pc shipped with 2 gigs of DDR2 PC-5300 RAM. It is capable of running dual channel, so I highly recommend using four 1-gig chips. As said before, you'll only get about 3.5gigs usuable - this is due to a limitation in addressing on 32-bit systems (IE: nothing to worry about). If you go to www.newegg.com you will find a decent selection of PC-5300 RAM. Two 1-gig chips will run around $30. Personally I would recommend crucial or corsair brand, I use them religiously and have never had a problem.

I saw somebody recommended AVG for antivirus. NO. If you need antivirus on the cheap, get Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free and it's from Microsoft. The install integrstes right into windows and automatic updates will keep the definition file up to date. You can find it at Windows.microsoft.com/mse.
