Good stuff man thanks will check itDemacia wrote:
Yea exactly. And I used to think screamo was crap too. Then my buddy introduced me to some that's actually pretty good. Check out a band called Bleeding Through. They might change your mind a bit. Vocalist is badass. He actually sings too it's not just mindless screaming.Ꮹཞ།ཀཀ wrote:
🎶🎶@ Khal I read it all lol.
Fair enough. Maybe I just haven't heard any that really appeals to me. I heard a little once and chalked it all up to being computer generated noise. Didn't see any real skill in it. It's like saying Lil Wayne is a good rapper. ✂
I'll check out some of the artists listed here. I pride myself on being open minded 👍 -
Jackhammers and babies screaming while the microwave is going and plates are dropping on the floor and the smoke alarm is going off. That's dubstep in a nutshell. So listen to your smoke alarm instead of wasting money on buying it on iTunes.

This is the only music that gets me through crossfit (when I'm not being lazy and actually doing crossfit) -

Damnnn someone got butthurt! I was just joking. As someone who is in the hollywood music industry and as someone that has been performing all over the Los Angeles area for the past 15 years, i have respect for all artforms whether i personally enjoy them or not. I was joking about dubstep bc some of the more popularized dubstep artists just plain suck. I like electronic "music" .I listen to a lot of trance and ambient stuff.
Also im not trying to say that producing electronic "music" doesnt take skill. It totally does, as does any other artform. But there are so many idiots out there with protools that slap somethig together and call themselves an artist or musician with no regard to someone like me who put close to two decades into earning that title. And many of these idiots are the people making it big. Its the industry.

Maybe they do it for fun?? If not wtf would there be so much of it. Let them do their thing. You don't see them shitting on you for wasting your hours on some forum and getting off to capturing colored circles.Demacia wrote:

Also no money in it??? Tell me why UMF is one f the biggest concerts in the world. Spans over 3 days and gets sold out. + I'd rather pay to attend any of those concerts than most of the other music. Except Jason Mraz. That's my homeboy
