Title, not so much the author, and amount of replies for me. If it's about music or sports I won't go into it. If it has to do with anger and arguments, I'll open it. How about you people out there? What makes you respond to threads?

Hmmmmm. Yah I don't open sports or music usually. The title makes me open it mainly. It's hard to know what kind of titles I choose

Well..that's good to know..I think I'll still check outside my bedroom window each night now, though.
Sometimes it's the author. If they're known for posting good stuff, I'll take the time to read it. If they're a known forum troll who posts nonsense, why bother? Other than that, title is a big factor. If your title sucks, your content probably does too. I usually don't read about drama in the UK and sometimes I don't read ECS-related stuff bc they don't effect me whatsoever. I'll read & post on the "real life" threads just as much as the TW-related threads bc I don't mind letting you people see what a dork I am.

Off the top of my head, a couple of my favorite thread authors are Matt, Johnny O & mama tek.

For me it is mostly the title but i hate it when it has a good title and a piece of crap post.
