Where we're you? On 9/11

  It's amazing that so many of you were just children when this happened. Although some of you as children were watching this on tv, I'm sure most of you at the time had no understanding how, in that moment, the world changed forever. I envy that innocence, and would trade a thousand memories from that day to be able to feel that innocence, even if only for a moment.

  I was in Australia about to go to bed. My parents told us what happened and we watched the news. The next day my parents wouldn't let my brother, sister and I go to school because people may ask us about it or treat us differently. I just turned 11 that year.

  The planes crashed at approx 8:56 and 9:03 into the world trade centers, I really find it hard to believe your teacher notified you released you and you were able to watch live feed at your home all within 7 minutes.
