What do you think about the psychotherapist that has a professional degree but isn't licensed to practice? Keep in mind that psycotherapy can be practiced by the meth head that lives under the bridge. It is not regulated.

He's a pop psychologist. A bit different than Oprah.

From what I've seen he gives a good reasonable point of view and usually gets respect that he deserves.

I thought about seeking professional help. But I got a divorce and all my problems went away.

He has a PHD and was licensed. He retired, and now does the show. So while he's no longer licensed by his own choice, he is a legit Dr. and was licensed for many years.

His show is trash, though.

I read somewhere that he retired his license after some trouble he got in.

Why would he need a license to nod and give an opinion? It's not like he runs a practice.
