For 10 days, broadband and land line telephone haven't been able to work at the same time.

Pull the power lead out of the live box, phone works.

Connect to the Internet phone goes dead.

We phone BT, and after 10 days, the fault is most likely the router.

So, contact Orange. 3 days running I am asked the same questions and finally get told to contact BT!!!!

After, politely, explaining that we have done this, the guy finally offers us a new router.

The plus side of all this is we're not getting PPI calls.

Do you have adsl filters plugged into each phone socket?

Heh, phone only works when live box is off. So, it's been off during the day, on in the evening.
Orange are sending me a new router. Let's see how that works😄

You're not running a REAL land line are you. Is it a line that uses te internet very much like vonage?

Sounds like orange has been fucking loads of people over with the broadband routers!!! Friend of mine is in the same problem and tried a replacement router orange sent her......guess the answer?

It all could be on the same frequency. Check that out.
