I'll begin with a single problem, and present subsequent problems in their own posts. Answers will be provided every fifth post.
Q1). You are given three houses. One is red, one is blue and one is white.
If the red house is to the left of the house in the middle, and the blue house is to the right of the middle house, where is the white house? -
Q2). A man is found dead, lying at the bottom of a cliff. In his hand, he holds a broken match. How did he die?
-
The white house is in Washington
-
Q3). A man buys a rocket kit and an egg. He builds the rocket, and places the egg inside it.
When he launches the rocket, it flies into the air before exploding. However, the egg is not damaged in any way. How did it survive the explosion? -
Q1) it doesn't matter; it didn't specify that the three houses were next to each other. And isnt the White House a proper noun? So it would have to be capitalized to be in Washington.
Q2) there isn't enough info to be conclusive; he coulda just jumped off the cliff with a broken match because he wanted to.
Q3) dunno. -

Answers:
Q1). The white house (proper noun aside, you nerds) is in Washington DC.
Q2). The man was one of three men in a hot-air balloon. When the balloon began to loose altitude, they decided to draw straws (using matches) to decide who had to jump. He drew the short match and was obliged to jump.
Q3). The man removed the egg again before setting the rocket off.
Q4). The answer is, 'N'. - N for 'November'.
Q5). The answer is, 'N'. - N for 'Nine'.

Well lads and ladies, I'm impressed at some of your replies: although the men in a balloon one required prior knowledge, so that's cheating 😜 -
Q6). Earlier today, I made a coffee with one hand. Why didn't I use both?
(no fapping jokes please 😜)

Q7). What in an automobile engine serves no purpose but without it the engine does not work?
-
Q8). Imagine you are in a sinking rowboat surrounded by sharks. How would you survive?
-
Q9). Why is it against the law for a man living in North Carolina to be buried in South Carolina?
-
Q10). A hunter pitched her tent and then hiked straight south for five miles; she then turned and hiked five miles due east. Finally she turned again and hiked five miles straight north where she saw a bear ripping apart her tent. What color was the bear?

Answers:
Q6). I was typing questions for this thread with my other hand.
Q7). Noise.
Q8). Stop imagining you are on a sinking boat.
Q9). It's illegal to bury a living man.
Q10). White. It had to be a polar bear, because for the distances and direction she hiked to work, her tent had to be on the North Pole.

What the engine doesn't need noise to work, it makes noise! A better answer would have been air.

Nope, it says "the egg is not damaged in any way" (this statement does not mean it wasn't damaged in the explosion; it means it had no damage whatsoever done to it). If the egg hatched, it would be damaged...♠Ƭϋʀғä♠ wrote:

When he launches the rocket, it flies into the air before exploding. However, the egg is not damaged in any way. How did it survive the explosion?Oddly enough I had a completely different answer:
The egg hatched before he launched the rocket. -
