Like I said before thank you for the messages. I am up in Cleveland at Cleveland Clinic visiting my Father-in-law who had come down with a mystery virus. He is doing better and the doctors believe it is West Nile Virus and the first confirmed infected person in the area of West Virginia where he lives. It is terrible to watch how this illness affects a person. He is on the mend though and we hope that there will not be any long lasting affects from it.

West Nile virus is a nasty one. Glad he's gonna be ok

Glad to hear he is getting better. I hope he makes a full recovery and doesn't have any side affects. West Nile is horrible.

Thank you. I just made it home from Cleveland and my father-in-law is doing much better but is still weak. He will most likely stay up at Clevland Clinic for the next week or so. All thedoctors agree that it was West Nile virus that he got. Please advise your elderly and young family members to wear bug repellent. This was a terrible thing to watch a love one go through.

Damn man hate to hear that. My wife's riding my ass to spray that repellant on if I go outside. Hate that stuff!

I live on long island, ny. We have the highest rate of west nile in the country.
