Pop Tarts: Breakfast or Snack?

  Should Pop Tarts be considered as breakfast food ONLY, or can they be eaten at any time of day? I got into an argument today about that. The other guy thought Pop Tarts are breakfast food only, and I thought they could be eaten whenever.

  I consider pop tarts as snacks...they have smores, ice cream flavors, chocolate, cupcake, pretty much "junk food" flavors...therefore, pop tarts are junk food and can be eaten as a snack

  I just can't get over the cardboard-like texture of pop tarts. And the flavors are so off on them. If I wanted to taste sugar, I'd eat sugar. If I want a breakfast pastry, I'll have something that resembles a pastry.
