Im gonna make a bold prediction here n say cardinals win world series. No one can touch their rotation n hitting? Holliday for a full year now? Lookin forward to it

Being a cubs fan, not so worried about the cards pitching but your lineup is pretty damn good. Shouldn't have let De Rosa walk though. We learned that last year.

Yeah I know that wasn't the best move on our part. 3B is the only spot that's not truly filled yet but rotation: carp, waino, penny, lohse (who's healthy now). That's the best 4 ur gonna see in either league

I have to disagree with you phatphuck, the whitesox top four is way better than that. Peavy, Buehrle, Danks, and Floyd. I think it's one of the strongest top four in all of baseball.

I love the Cards chances too. I don't know if our rotation is the best in baseball but we have a good balance. Ryan Franklin needs to rebound though. Losing Derosa isn't a huge deal. He didn't do much for us (he was hurt) so we didn't really lose anything. They seem sold on David Freese at third. We will find out about him. I'm not just saying this because I'm a Cardinals fan (I don't do the "homer thinking we always think we are great" thing) but we are def the faves in the central

Penny u guys have a good rotation but carp n waino were 2nd n 3rd in cy young voting, waino won pitcher of the year and lohse is healthy n he's good when he's healthy. Brad pennys shown some skill in the past so well see about him. Supadizzle immature have to disagree I think the dbacks have put themselves in a great spot to win the nl west

I think both rotations are good but injury prone. And even if they both stay healthy all year the cards have a big advantage in having a better offense featuring the best hitter in the game. And I remeber DeRo having a monster start to the season last year. I thought his getting hurt was what led to the Holliday signing.

I have to apologize to you phatphuck, I was looking at the cards numbers and didn't realize how good carpenter and wain were last year. I'm not big on lohse, or penny, but I think it's more likely one will have a decent season than both. I would have to say they sure look like the nl central favorites though.

The Yankees are killing baseball. Half the country doesn't care about baseball anymore because their teams have no hope anymore All big free agents go to about 5 different teams nowadays. I blame new York because they started this a decade ago and even now their payroll is 60 million more than the next team.

I love baseball but that's why football reigns now. Arizona and Pittsburgh can play in the super bowl and everyone watched. Meanwhile the pirates and diamondbacks are not even cared about anymore. They've become farm systems for the big boys once they hit free agency. It's sad and it saddens me every December. I'll be excited again on opening day though

Np penny. Honest mistake. I have to agree with u a lot supadizzle, but 2 years ago we had the rays in the ws and the Rockies, astros, white sox Were in it not too long ago. The dbacks have a great chanc this year and even the pirates have a chance to finish maybe third in the division lol

Yes a small market team can be good for a year or two but then their good young players get close to free agency and they have to be traded. It's a crime that Johan Santana isn't still a twin and it's going to suck when Tampa trades Carl crawford later this year

Halladay is as scary as anyone. The rest of your rotation is hood but hittable. Philly is definitely a contender though
