Whether you're one of the crazies who actually prepare for a zombie apocalypse or just the average Joe, you've thought about it. What's your survival plan?

Hunt wolveriens with a 12 gauge gosh. ( say it in a napolian dinomite voice)

Well when I can't sleep some times I think about it. My plane would be go to my friends house and grap there 25+ weapons then drive to this one cOmmuity in geogria that has house built in the side/top of MT. The drive ways are at about60 degree angle. So yeah

Im not for sure if it will be a zombie apocalypse. Maybe more of a economic collapse. But i've have made some preperations. Nothing crazy but i do have a rather large stockpile of ammo for my guns. Mostly to defend my home and hunt for food. And just in case i have a bullet proof vest and a gas mask. As well as a bug out bag(B.O.G.) with some ammo, fire starters, knives, compass, some first aid items, a henry .22 survival rifle. As well as other items. I dont care what people think i havent wasted a ton of money but having a little bit of something is a lot better than not have anything at all.

I call up my closest friends and we loot Costco for food, clothes, and fresh water. We drive to bass pro shop to load up on weapons. The front entrance is a big wall decorated with antlers. Survivors in the store disperse these around the many exits & entrances as an impaling barricade. The surrounding area gets many squirrels, rabbits, and every once in a while, coyotes. We hunt with suppresed weapons at night to avoid detection. We can successfully last for months. It's not only my friends & I, as I assume the workers & gun experts would be found there as well.

I like it. My zombie apocalypse is idiots saying YOLO SWAG and FISH.

Ok, not that there will be a Zombie Appocolypse, but if you're prepared for one you should be prepared for any other more likely catostophies.
If you are not a member of a zombie response team, maybe you should consider it..http://zombieresponseteam.net/

Hmm
So, first off, lets be realistic. In an end of the world situation like this people would most likely put themselves over others if they didn't have a family to be loyal to. That knocks out tons of survivors right there. Then you have rogues and bandits that'll steal anything and kill everything. So past that, maybe 33% of people would be willing to find a team. I have my plan mapped out with approx. fuel consumption and everything, but I'll only touch on it-
First off, me and some buddies all agreed should this happen to meet up in the backlot of home depot. Why home depot? Oh, the blunt weapons. From there, off to scope out the local mom n pop gun shop a few blocks down. Probably occupied or raided already. Next step is to set up a big bang at the Phantom Fireworks a couple stores down. It'll attract attention, which'll give us time to scope out some car dealerships for better cars to hijack. Then, heading up north, we will try to get up to dayton without trouble.
-
Further, we will head to the bomb shelter and take it by force. There is a nearby med supply and a ton of nearby markets for rations. This is the best case scenario, but we've come up with tons of others alongside it.
-
Run like an idiot around my house, let train of zombies follow turn around and stop for 2 secs, shoot then turn around snd run again(learned from black ops) 😏
-
Also prepared for WW3 on US soil, a nuclear meltdown, and a dictator EOTW scenario. Me and my buddies have nothing better to do in the hour we wiat for the first bell to ring, might as well make good use of it?

You don't think the 'gun experts' wouldnt have barricaded their gun shop up and wouldn't shoot anything that moves on sight?Trauger Jogger wrote:

Get some dried goods (which I have) to last a month and then stay in the house with some boards and nails. Along with some weapons. A month will blow over and there will be nobody in the way.

I'd simply put a bunch of treadmills around the perimeter of my home n turn 'em on.

Home is fine provided you have a weapon blast shelter or you destroy the staircase up to a top floor.Hospitals, provided they are abandoned are perfect despite common belief. With the meds you can scavenge they'd be worth a scout. Grocery stores are fine right off the bat for rations and later on if you're alive for non perishable food items and possibly makeshift explosives.

So I'm going with the nontraditional plan and letting my emotions guide me a little. I would gather my family (even extended family), grab my weapons (includes guns and a bow), and get moving. I live in the city (Miami) which is basically a zombie hotspot. I would take the men of the family and raid one of the many pawn & gun stores, hijack a food transportation truck, hope for a large supply of food onboard, and use the truck to transport my family. We would escape into the Everglades, where there is less population and lots of resources. I would use the bow for hunting because you can reuse the arrows and the guns are more practical for zombies. One gator a day and a few fish would leave us with leftovers.
