I think these big mob players seem to forget they had to start off small at one point, try being encouraging to us noobs to keep this game alive or new players might be put off putting the effort into playing it.

Ive seen lots of larger players try to help the new guys. The thing is, when past newer players ignore the advice, it gets to be a waste of time. Why should the larger players hold the hands of players who refuse to take the advice and actually use it. The OP obviously knew that he would get grief from other players for a 2k mob thread. I was one who was going to congratulate him on his milestone and offer words of encouragement. I then see how he reacts to someone being sarcastic and any urge I had to offer encouragement disappears. He said himself that he has "reset multiple times", I can see why. It's a waste of time offering words of encouragement to a player who has obviously not learned from any previous mistakes or cannot take other people's opinions. If you can't take comments from both sides, stay on the map and off the forums.

I can understand it might be frustrating when you offer a hand in helping certain people who throw it back in your face I wasn't fighting any certain persons point but I've noticed recently on every small mob milestone threads or something a genuine noob being proud of something insignificant they get flamed for it by the bigger players of the game, just thought it would be better to encourage the smaller new players to get them keen.
