Okay, guys this is the official thread for the football league. Registration is officially open. Please read this thread thoroughly before contacting me.

This is the third Turf Wars football league. I waited until Mid August this year because I want everyone to make the draft and play the year out. Forming the league later will make it more likely that everyone will already know that they can make it to the draft.

Info:
12 team ESPN head to head league
Draft: Sunday, September 2nd at 7pm Eastern Time (Labor Day Weekend)

If you know you can be at the draft and want to play, feel free to contact me with the following criteria (To Be Continued)

1. Confirmation that you would be able to be at the online draft on that Sunday at 7pm ET.

2. I want to hear about your league history. How long have you played Fantasy Football... have you won a championship before. Please, be honest. I'm not really going to base my decision on how well you've finished or how long you've played. But I would like to know still.

3. Convince me that you're a guy who plays the whole year out. More than anything, I want committed members. The last 2 Turf Wars leagues had too many abandoned teams.

4. I need your email address. If I accept you, I'll have to have it to invite you to the league. Please join the league quickly after I send the invite email.

If you've already played in a Turf Wars league and did play the year out, all you do is PM me and remind me you played last year and which team you were. And you'll be put in the league as long as I haven't filled it up yet.

Please, contact me via PM. DO NOT PUT YOUR APPLICATION ON HERE. And don't PM me with "Hey dude can I play?" Unless you've been in the Turf Wars league with me already, I most likely won't even bother responding to you.

If I don't respond to you immediately, don't be worried. I will only handle all of this stuff when I'm home and have time to do it. My goal is to have this league filled up in the next 48-72 hours. I want to give peopl who don't get on the forums every day to see this and PM me.

Application process is still open. Remember Send me your email address!!!! Only 1-2 applicants have actually done that so far. If I haven't responded to u yet don't worry. I haven't responded to just about anyone else yet either. I probably won't contact people back until tomorrow about it.

This is the last time I'll be bumping this before I make selections tomorrow. If you want in this is your last chance to contact me. I told a few I'd be making selections today, but my father in law showed up and helped me with some hardworking we were going to do tomorrow and I have a softball game in an hour. So tomorrow I'll be contacting people and filling the league.

Okay, selections have been made. I picked the people who A: Did the best job at following my requests in their application and B: Convinced me they'd be at the draft and play the year out. I've told each member that they have until Sunday to accept the league invite or I'd give their team to a different applicant. I'll tell you guys, I got more good applicants than I had spots. I would've loved to have put a few more of you guys in there. If someone doesn't join, maybe I'll be able to get you in.

For the new members of the league, you are welcome to change your team names once you join. This is the exact same league as the one we ran last year in Turf Wars. I just deleted all of the old owners and added you guys. So by all means, name your team whatever you'd like. And see you all in a week.
