Hidden comments that count towards reply amounts?

I am see OTB's '💣Did you exchange' thread and I saw five comments listed on the gd forum but inside the thread is 3 comme ts. Is that a system glitch or whatever or banned people posting but no one or few other people can see their comments. And if it is banned players, why would their comments count towards the comment amount in the thread if they can not be seen?

Nope, that is not how it works. I just did two test comments, one in this thread and OTB's thread. I commented, backed out to see how many comments and had one mire showing. I go back into the thread and delete the comment. I back out and the page refreshes and shows one less comment or the comment amount as before I started the test. Did it twice and same results.

You're not seeing the Vet comments. A reminder to the vets. Disable your [seen by vets only] option in settings. The noobs can't see your witty replies if this box is checked. Thanks✌.

Well I'm wrong then. I don't know I always thought that.
The idea makes perfect sense but it is either the system failing to update your device with the information that there is one less reply to a thread when you back out of a thread and it refreshes, banned players posting but comments not seen while still adding to thread reply amount or something else.

Sure 😏 And would you mind me asking, what makes the 'vets' exactly a vet? Some have called me a vet (I know I am far from one, but still to them I was like a vet, whoever that person or two were) but I'm not one. You are a vet but where specifically is one considered a vet?

Yeah, that was what I was saying about banned players. They can see it and maybe a few others like dev team, nick or beauty but no other regular turfer can see it. Plus the dev team might have deleted your's for some reason.

In the case of these 'special features', it is based on dollars spent.... 0-$25 noob, 26-100 player (ability to post in color), 101-500 advanced (double xp for missions and fights) 501-up Vet (4k hench, 50 brens and access to vet-only forum.)
