There has been a cure for aids since May 31, 1996. The patent number is 5676977. google that number and read! I copied the abstract straight from the U.S. Patent Dpt....
The diamagnetic semiconducting molecular crystal tetrasilver tetroxide (Ag.sub.4 O.sub.4) is utilized for destroying the AIDS virus, destroying AIDS synergistic pathogens and immunity suppressing moieties (ISM) in humans. A single intravenous injection of the devices is all that is required for efficacy at levels of about 40 PPM of human blood. The device molecular crystal contains two mono and two trivalent silver ions capable of "firing" electrons capable of electrocuting the AIDS virus, pathogens and ISM. When administered into the bloodstream, the device electrons will be triggered by pathogens, a proliferating virus and ISM, and when fired will simultaneously trigger a redox chelation mechanism resulting in divalent silver moieties which chelate and bind active sites of the entities destroying them. The devices are completely non-toxic. -
That doesn't mean that it works. That's what was put in the patent application. I can get a patent for a ray gun, but that doesn't mean it will work.

Definatly! possibly to eventualy release it, but charge a crazy amount. Possibly to use it to bargain with our enemies. Possibly even to keep the population of the world down!!

Even if they had already tested it and it worked, they would have to observe the patients for at the least 10 years(probably 20) to look for long term side effects.

But seriously even if a cure was possible it would cost a shed load to get it tested and the ingredients alone in these drugs cost mega that's why they charge so much . Now add in the fact that predominantly most of the sufferers tend to be in the poorer nations then who will actually be paying for the medication ??? Yeah it would have to be charity from the us government spending billions of usd . Likely ??? Not so much

Or, forget political tacticts, how come no private company has pursued the technology? because the U.S. Government wants to controll the worlds population. And because many of the worlds AIDS patients are in poor ass countries, they make for ideal candidates for population regulation. Nobody will miss 'em! (Giverments words, not mine!)
