Unable to download app

I just left the U.S and is here in Quito. While here I tried to update about 20 apps. A window popped up saying unable to download apps retry or done. Hitting the retry won't do anything. I've tried downloading 1 at a time, turning my iPod off and hitting the update again but to no avail. I have an iPod. Can anyone help??

Close all open apps

Try to update your apps on your pc and then sync it up

I have read that certain apps are only available at certain countries. You might be somewhere blacklisted?

Maybe.... I downloaded 1 app but the rest didn't work....maybe it's an apple problem
