Alien life forms on Mars

Interresting read tbh, but why we didnt colonise yet?
Its not the resources, nor the money imo.
Its the return on investement that counts on this matter i think.Im sure that if they found ores and such of high value, we would gave been there already, comes to another point:
Who is going to be the big ass and "claim" whatever they will find there?
War would surely follow out of all thIs...

They apparently "thought" they did. Then they recanted and said they weren't sure. They've been staring the strange microscopic structures in those same meteorites for nearly a decade.... They still aren't "sure" if they are fossilized bacteria or not.I thought they found fossilized microrganisms on mars a long time ago.
Anyone else scared about what's gonna happen when we bring stuff from mars back to earth? I mean what if a recovered rock has a super virus on it, and the vessel containing it, crashes after re-entry and releases the virus into the water or air? Could be potenional extinction.

Has anyone else ever wondered how H.G. Wells' Martians didn't bring alien bacteria to earth? If our diseases killed them, why didn't theirs kill us?Tonytlj add:TLJ wrote:
That was my conclusion as well! Or be damn sure those samples are in a tough crate.💚Gяз̶͠з̕η̕Μα̴η̨ wrote:

No, their immune system had never encountered our diseases. It's been years since I read it, so I could be wrong.Tonytlj add:TLJ wrote:

Anyone ever hear of Carbon 3?

Oh I'm sorry.., I mean helium-3.

Isnt that a helium spinoff that is able to deliver more energy per spend amount? ( i hope you get what i .Oh I'm sorry.., I mean helium-3.
And from what i still remember, i thought it was used in the research of nuclear fusion. (hence why i said more output per u it of input, and not radioactive).
I could be weong about all the above though

That was my exact thinking. They wouldn't spend money on doing it unless they could make money back. But not to long ago I was reading about how there was a group of rich people that are putting done of there money together to research mining on asteroids Becuase they are very rich in minerals

Yeah! It's on the moon. Apparently 1 ton of it could power a city for ten years. Sounds awesome.💚Gяз̶͠з̕η̕Μα̴η̨ wrote:

Actually, this is half true. In a meteorite they found that came from mars, they found fossilized bacteria that isn't related to Earth bacteria. It was also not one of the only types of bacteria of the area it was found in, the Arctic.

I believe they found some around the north pole, under the ice. Hence the reason why everyone is so interested about setting up bases up in the area.Oh I'm sorry.., I mean helium-3.

Due to the number of planets in the universe, other life is very possible. But the probability that they are sentient and have flying junk are very unlikely.👽
