...yes she held a gun.
Anyways, what are your views in the sex offender laws? The distance, the lack of forgiveness, the registrations. Do you think they are too strict or not strict enough? Meaning, for the people who want to follow the rules are they too tight? Wouldn't you think if someone wanted to re-offend they would take all the rules and piss on them?
If this subject is hurtful to anyone, please let me know via pm and I will delete immediately. I mean no harm to anyone. Just saw it on oprah.

I live in AZ, and I don't know if every state has a law like this but as a guy every once in a while you have to pee and your no where near a restroom. If you get caught peeing anywhere in public they will make you register as a sex offender for the rest of your life!
This part of the law I think is to strict!
But for those who are truly bad people and deserve to be a registered sex offender the laws can not be to strict! -
are you serious? thats ridiculous!
who hasnt peed in public at least once.
-
Wow really?! For peeing in public?! I just saw an episode basically bringing to light the severity of how having to register can ruin someone's life forever.

Good lord, well with that said, do you think the laws in which you become convicted as an offender are too strict? Or the laws you must follow once you already are?

I'm sure that some of the cops and judge would maybe make some exceptions pending the circumstance but the way the law is written that's what could happen to u if you get caught! -

They're pretty strict. If you move and forget to register, jail. You cant live within a rediculous amount of miles from all kinds of shit. You can't come in contact with anyone under 18. These all sound normal, but the things that can get you convicted seem not so cut and dry. One mistake, or misinterpretation, and you could ruin your future or your chance to have a family. I'm not talking about blatant offenders. I'm talking about the grey areas.🔰ਸᏧᏧ ℜⱥ༏Ҡℴ ц🔰 wrote:

how would you feel if a guy jumped out of a car right in front of your daughter and took a piss on a tree where she saw everything. I would expect something to happen but becoming a sex offender That is crazy. But I also think its sad a guy Can get a charge and have to register for peeing on the side of the road but another guy who is caught mowing his yard in the nude just gets a hand from a cop with no charges.
On another note My ex-husband is in prison for molesting and trying to rape my oldest daughter and yet he only got 6 years. When of you added it up and went by what the charges are and the time he was supposed to get he would have gotten 53 years so I see it as the justice system is f**ked and he got off with a slap on the hand. He was supposed to get his original 14+6 for a previous charge of child endangerment/child abuse then 8 years on top of that for violation of probation and 25 years for molesting and trying to rape his own child. So now you see he just got a slap on the hand. -

The system is messed up. -
And yet a guy I know, who was a long haul truck driver, is 10 years in to a 9-20 year sentence. His log books showed he wasn't even I. The state when the molestation allegedly occurred. His lawyer didn't submit the logs as proof because they were "circumstantial." Yet the defense based everything on the 15 year old girl's diary.

There are the true sex offenders, the rapists, pedophiles. For them I think the laws (generally speaking) are too light, or in some cases fitting. Life in jail happens in some states, and if they get out they have to register as a sex offender and notify their neighbors. That's harsh, but fits the crime.
Then there is the mild offenders. Those who, as someone else already said, chose to pee in public (wonder what happens if you wet your pants in public???) or got caught up in a bad situation, the system isn't designed for those people.

Yeah the people that do rape peeps should get jailed if death rowed but peeping in public is retarded they need a judge that has common cense for those type of cases
