How about something like Residence? You could disable chest protection/animal theft, but allow players to protect an area of land against griefers.

But, if the server lets both non-premiums and premiums join thennill do it! It's going to be a computer hosted server, not some paid, rent server from a website.

What is premium and non premium? And don't add too many plugins because that makes it suck. Don't do residences either because those are a pain in the ass. Keep plugins amount anywhere from 5-10.

premium means you paid for the game, non premium is a demo.

Least amount of mods possible to keep it clean. Play the game as its meant to be played. Actively and swiftly ban all nodus users and xrayers. That way, allowing griefing isn't so bad, because you can actually hide your base.
I don't even play on shitty servers anymore. Everyone runs around with X-ray and nodus and it ruins it for everyone.

A few things wrong here...
1. I HIGHLY reccomed you bit a server, its much less laggy, and 24/7
2. If you run a server off your own pc then you will have to port forward which means that people will need your IP to join, hackers will have no problem ceasing your personal details.
3. Please... PLEASE do not attempt to install Anti X-Ray. It will lag te servver to hell especially a home run server.
If it is a griefing server then i do not see the problem with xray anyway,

Anti-Cheat
Permission.
iConomy
iConomy Chest Shops
Jobs.
Simple plugins and keep it under 10 plugins you dont need a ton anyway.

Also i know of a plugin that lets moderators use the command /poof and it turns them invisible, what i use to do is use /poof and tp to everybody on the server, whatch for a while then tp to the next.

No, I play on a server where they have anti-X-ray, with 200 people on all the time and there is 0 lag.

No, I play on a server where they have anti-X-ray, with 200 people on all the time and there is 0 lag.
And anti-X-ray so they wont mine just dig straight down and a certain area, and boom, find diamond.

Im talking about the Bukkit build version. I was checking the list and there is only a 1.3.1-R0.1 which is highly developmental.

Because its bullshit. What is the point in trying to hide a base when it's going to get found by an xrayer? Nobody wants to run into the 10000 or -10000 range to have a slight chance at being safe.
