LED is lighter, brighter, sharper, more colorfull, and overall better than the rest.

As The man mentioned earlier, you need to understand what you are buyin into.
LED is better format of LCD, as backlight is localised and you can switch off backlight 'cells' to improve darkness/contrast. It is still LCD based technology, just thinner (as LEDs take up less space than the backlight tubes).
LCD (and also LED) screens have a problem with ghosting. This is when a fast moving image crosses the screen. Plasma screens don't have this issue. So if you game a lot, plasma should be your first choice.
Plasma screens create a lot more heat (can you hear the fans whirring in a quiet bit of the movie?) than LCD technology, even the newer, flatter plasmas.
Resolution on either display technology will cost you (1080 > 720) and the quality of the DSP chips and their speed will determine how good your display will present the information.
Smart TVs have a long way to go (I have the Samsung 8000) and can do better IMHO... Depends on what you want (I prefer xbmc) out of the 'smart' experience... 👍
