Anyone else's sin is no worse than my own. We all have to repent and turn from that sin, regardless of what it is.
What's interesting to me is that in the Bible, the only time we are commanded to judge others, it isn't non-believers we're told to judge. That is for God, alone, to do. Christians are told to rebuke one another, however, even to the point of disassociating with them if they willfully refuse to turn from their sin, so as to turn a brother/sister from the path of destruction.
But in all things, love.

If you stop being ignorant and picking and choosing parts of the bible yourself to suit your needs, you'd find the answer to your question. Read over Romans. It talks about how certain practices (ie selling your daughter) in the old testament no longer need to be followed. Don't try to use that to say: "we'll if the old testament is now invalid, then gays are ok." because they're not, and that is not what Romans is doing. -
You know I find this whole thing a bit puzzling. I am a Christian and I am Canadian alot of my friends were posting all over, on their blogs, on facebook saying they wish they were in the U.S. so they could support Chick-Fil-A. And this is let me to ask Is this what our faith is? Eating in restaurants owned by Southern Baptists who dont like homosexuality. Half the world is starving and we are worried about whether saying you're not into gay rightsis an opinion you have a right to or a political stance.

Just bc someone hates us, or reapecful declines our right but not our money, doesn't mean we gotta go all ignorant and shit. I think gay people need to keep their cool. Let's not stoop to their level. As hard as it is and as much as it hurts. Just let it go.Trauger Jogger wrote: ...

Well, after getting caught up of two or three pages of this, I have some things to say (and Trauger, I got your PM, this should answer it). It is very true that the old testament has rules such as no haircuts, no cutting of facial hair, eating only cloven hoofed, cud chewing animals, etc along with condemning homosexuality. The reason these laws existed were to separate the Jews (to whom the laws were written) and the pagans (namely Egyptians). The laws were to outwardly show who was who. Additionally, things such as animal sacrifices and other religious rights called for in these books of the bible were to cleanse ones self of sin (by offering a pure animal- the firstborn animal). So, in summation, the laws were to openly and outwardly show you were a Jew and to cleanse the people of their son through sacrifice. (These two points are very important). Then Jesus came along (this is also were Jews split from Gentiles; Jews do not follow this next part, Gentiles do).
-
Jesus came and sacrificed himself as The Lamb of God. He took the place of all the firstborn animals ever needed to cleanse one of their sin. (Thus ending te practice of animal sacrifice). Jesus also changed the outward sign of Christians/Jews from all the laws to one simple one: love everyone. No more lame haircuts and more love (more bacon too😃)

I think that super size me was a bit over Exaggerated. First of all, eating anything that much will make you sick like that. It's called moderation. Not everyone in America is a vegetarian and not everyone in america has McDonalds for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That documentary was counterproductive and all it did was open unnescesary law suits against a legitimate buisness. I could make a documentary being someone who does not drink alchohol and drink beer for breakfast and dinner and I would surprise people that I became an alcoholic. Does that mean that you should never drink alchohol in your lifetime?❌❌ZebulonPike❌❌ wrote:
