Coming to the end of a long work week, the weekend is finally here. I'll be installing a nice touchscreen player in my car then hittin up the parties, leading up to Six Flags on Saturday and soccer all day on Sunday. So what are your plans for the weekend?
-
I'm working tonight, off tomorrow, but I'm broke so I'll be sitting in my room and punching codes. That's my weekend for you.
Hope that you enjoy yours. Don't party too hard. ;)

Friday has ended. Saturday is here (it's 2:38am Saturday). I'm going for a day trip when I wake up at 8:00am with the missus, then working tonight. Ugh. Pizza delivery 👎

I remember those days... I got two jobs, working 50+ hours a week. Of course then I didn't have the time to enjoy that money. Just had to find the right balance 👍I'm working tonight, off tomorrow, but I'm broke so I'll be sitting in my room and punching codes. That's my weekend for you.

I'll probably try to spend some time with my nephew, maybe take him to Monkey Joe's (an inflatable bounce house place), and I'll be watching the Olympics. And I do plan on punching codes too.

Trauger: work hard, play hard!

No, we take him to Chucky Cheese too. MJ has way fewer video games. They probably have at least 7 or 8 very large indoor inflatable bounce houses though...with slides, obstacle courses, etc. My nephew isn't even two yet, so we stick to the ones intended for younger kids mostly.Mr. Wretched: never heard of Monkey Joes... No way. I used to work at a place like that, except it was called Pump It Up and was reserved mainly for parties. If you can, go in with nephew. You have no idea how much the little kids love that✭J⌖и Λl͟l͟e͞и✭ wrote:

Oh, I do go in with him. Adults are allowed in if their kid is 4 or under, but they can't bounce. Makes sense to me because kids could get hurt, particularly the smaller ones. Some jackasses go in and bounce anyway though. Makes me mad when I see a fully grown man almost land on top of a toddler. My nephew surprised me the other day. At about 21 months old, he climbed a really steep ladder in one of the jumps intended for older kids so that he could go down one of the really steep slides. After that, he didn't have much interest in the baby bounce houses anymore.

Perfecting wheelies on my dirtbike, fishing, camping, drinking, sleeping. Or if it rains punch codes and watch movies haha. WOOHOOOOOOO

Fartze: you do that! The benefits of being single ✊
Mr. 71: sounds like a great way to donate your time and talents. Much respect!
Taliben: I might play some minecraft myself. I left Call of Duty for that game
Erayc: I tried to do that on my street bike but can't get over the fear of dropping my bike again. Maybe once I put my stunt tank on it...
Charger: don't know if you ever heard of this place, but a similar place was Discovery Zone. Had that back in Puerto Rico

Double header in Jonesboro tomorrow night, then bracket play on Sunday. ⚾

Mr. W: yea, that happens. Most times the adults have more fun than the kids do. Me included... 😁

I guess I'd be more ok with it if they didn't have signs posted on EVERY bounce house telling adults to not bounce in them at Monkey Joe's. :)Mr. W: yea, that happens. Most times the adults have more fun than the kids do. Me included... 😁
We had a Discovery Zone in Daytona Beach when I was in high school, and my friends and I would actually talk parents at our church into letting us borrow their kids so that we could go play there. Ball pits are fun at any age!
