Im a rising junior and am taking all of the IB classes for the diploma. I just want to know your thoughts and experiences with the program, and how you feel it benefitted you.

Or intimidating boobs -
As nice as intimidating boobs sounds, it stands for international baccalaureate.

Which is???

Got an IB diploma 20 years ago- it's a really good high school education. Was able to place out of some entry level college courses/requirements. It carried some weight with prospective employers later on who knew what it was. It's a lot of work- good luck with junior and senior year!

Intergalactic bouncies?

I just looked it up. Calling it a baccalaureate is a bit misleading, since it is only a high school education. As far as the worth of it, I personally wouldn't put too much stock in it. But if you can use it to fool an employer into giving you the job, I guess it has its uses.
I read that the organizations director gave a plagiarized speech, so be careful about that. It might devalue the diploma a bit.

I'm doing History of the Americas next year.

That being said I'm in it as well.
Mmm I really don't like that I can't have much of a life other than it, but I know it'll help me get into NKU easier and displace some of the first years work, so I'm all for taking it.
The only thing I absolutely hate about it is Spanish 1-4. 1-2 were easy, 3-4 notsomuch.

I commend all of you who are working your butts off to get through IB. I was in the program back in 1992 as a freshman, but I dropped out of it 9 weeks into my sophomore year. I just couldn't stand not having a life outside of it. I literally had a mental breakdown from the stress of the program and was ready to drop out of school altogether. Fortunately, the IB guidance counselor was good and talked me out of that!
I have friends who finished the program and reaped the benefits of doing so. It is definitely a good program...just not for everybody. 👍

I never said I had experience with it, and I didn't present my opinion that way. I clearly said I didn't even know what it was. But my opinion of it still stands as my opinion. And that last snippet is a fact.★Λubergine★ wrote:

Aren't you supposed to have quit the game a couple times already anyways?

I have tidbits of time here and there. I quit because I was offered an opportunity for a job, and I really need to work to make a portfolio for it. You don't know me though, so I wouldn't expect you to understand. But I do have a little time scheduled in for games, and I still enjoy this game so sometimes I hop on.👣💀ÇℍĮҜƎƝ💀👣 wrote:

Go certifacate, much easier, same benefits as diploma.
My sister left grade 12 with a 45 IB score (the highest possible). Only 0.1 percent of the world gets a 45, and she was the only one in Canada to get one.
Yet Carleton University, gave her the same scholarship as her friend who took the certificate. Diploma's a nightmare. Calling it "hard" is an understatement.
I'm in Pre-IB by the way.
But IB is great, as a whole, probably the best high school program out there. -
