I for one reckon it's a load of bolloccks that we can't afford and will probably get blown up ! Not to mention the shocking traffic round London and the gs4 scandal !!!!

Having said that lots of people I know are very excited and looking foreward to the event ! What do the tw community think of it ?

Looking forward to watching. My wife and I were in London back in May and enjoyed getting to see the stadium and getting to see things being built and put in place for the Olympics. I hope the OP's fears don't come to fruition. Hope it goes smoothly for you all over there!

It is bollox. I have paid crazy tax to fund it. Cant drive down certain roads or in lanes already to get to work or get fined. No one has yet got close to stealing the torch and I'm not sure if there is a beech volleyball event or not

I'm not happy, I don't think they put any thought / consideration in to the resident's of the borough's. I my self live in greenwich, the traffic is an absolute nightmare, the noise from low flying helicopter's ( all day and night ) completely messing up my sleeping pattern. Not to mention totally taking over our local park during the summer ( School )holiday period, which has pee'ed me of the most. I have 2 boy's and take them to the park at least 3 times a week to play football. This is not going to happen this year.

I don't care about it being here I feel sorry for ppl in London cus it's going to be hell but the money spent by ppl coming over to see the games and will spend a lot cus Everything in London is very high priced. That will help the economy in the long run

I understand people's frustrations in and around London regarding traffic but hey it's always crap! Businesses big and small with thrive as a result! People pick up your bitch sticks and enjoy these athletes who are amoung the most dedicated people on the planet!

Actually, I read somewhere that the UK is ranked 16th in the world for dental care.
While America is ranked 37th in the world.
