Why turf whore the airport??? whats the benefit, what can you really gain from this!!?? Anyone else have this problem or have answers as to why this is such a great idea...

There are very large mobs and very large alliances that want airports closed TL keep other alliances out that they are at war with, I would highly recommend not trying to start a vendetta to open spots at these airports, your best bet is to ask the person holding the airport if it's possible to get in, such as Dubai tajik is (attempting) to shut it down but says when one side wins the war there it could be opened.. For the most part the alliances involved in closing or owning airports near their main base they will stay closed or controlled by them, and with them mostly all having 60k members it's bes to be nice and polite

When there are wars going on airports will be closed. That's just the way it is. And once you get in you better hope you can hop out of the next airport straight away or you'll be capped out.

I went to an airport when I had 2k mob. I was fine. But you do need to make sure you have the turf limit to establish yourself in the new city.
