  I'd guess more than 70% of the 67k max-mob are inactive. It would be interesting to look at leaderboard for lots of smaller areas to get an idea of who is listed and if they are still playing.

  I'd bet that of all the total turf planted right now, more than half is from the same 1k top players (go anywhere and you'll start to see the same player names everytime.)

  Most new players barely last long enough to accept your mob invite - that's why temps are so important.

  4-7k players who play at least once a month is my guess.
