Nah - what?? Lol - San Andreas is early 90's LA tupacish biggie smallish gangsta themed bro. Vice city is scarface early 80s Miami themed. 😁mojopilot wrote:

All but SA is king, sounds like 5s multiplayer could be epic, I'm so excited hehehe

This is a dumb argument, but whatever. Go to Rockstars site. Go to the from page, read what the games about. Pay particular attention to the first sentence of the second paragraph, "It's the early 90's".Late 80s to the first years of the 90s

For those of us who remember the late 80s and early 90s, there was a huge difference.

It even says it on the back of the game's box too

San Andreas was a complete load of utter shit.
Yes is was a lot more open than previous titles... Therein lies the problem... There was fuck all to do. Took too long to get places, the missions were repetitive. The gameplay seriously lacked the fun factor of vice city.
Just because you can build a massive open world, doesn't mean you should. Unless you're prepared to make the actual content of the game worth the time and effort.

IV also lacked the fun factor found in vice city. It was made up by the atmosphere and graphical aspect. Just a shame about the disconnected feeling which manifested within the story for me.
Although I think Vice City is the best overall, because of the fun content and cheesy soundtrack (taking me on a memory trip of my younger years), I'd have to say the best was GTAIII. Yeah, the top downers of ps1 fame were immersive but nothing prepared us gamers of the 80's persuasion for the brutal genius that was GTAIII on ps2.
We were there for the pong, the NES, SEGAS etc...

...for me, GTAIII set a standard for the future of gaming for me.
In my opinion it remains THE most innovative game available to consoles. It was the game every game design house in the world wanted to have thought of. Brilliant.

San Andreas, then vice city, then bogt, then the rest is whatever but Gta 4 was mega flop, did enjoy playing it obv gta storylines make up for it but after the story whats left. They need to start making games wih a bit more under the hood.

The bad thing about Gta iv is that after you finish it there is nothing to do

Yeah, cos you can't go out bowling, drinking, playing pool, arcade gaming, eating, playing darts, racing, killing, getting into realistic (ish) cop chases, assassinating people, drug dealing, dating, going to strip clubs, cruising, stunt jumping, killing the top most wanted, rampaging, meeting random people, exploring and more... Not to mention all the online stuff to do
-
Vice city was the best GTA game without question.
