Almost. And it was my dad actually. We were shooting off fireworks and what one did was a fountain and then would shoot 4 into the air. My dad didn't feel like it was a good idea to let it like that but the lady said that it would be heavy enough to hold it down. Well it was fairly windy on the beach and the first shot goes up, and the thing shakes. Might I also add that there these idiot punks who actually said "dude
Let's get closer!" and the thing tips over and shoots one into the ocean and two more onto the beach. One barely missed the punks.

So afterwords the punks were talkin all this shit and they walk by us and my grandma was out in front of us and they say to here "you could've killed us" and I assumed they were joking so I said "I'd be happy". Typical teen banter. Well then they flip on my grandma being complete jerks to her and saying stuff like "were reporting you to the authorities". So my grandma jokes with them then my grandpa comes over (he's got bad hearing problems) and he's like "were you shooting off fireworks" and they just start being complete jerks so I go "listen those are my grandparents. We were perfectly within the law shooting those off. Now quit being assholes or I'll tear you a new one!" and we left

Needed to share it somewhere and facebooks not the best option haha

Ya, looking back were lucky that the one shot into the ocean because if it was turned around 180 degrees it would've been straight at us. We're also luckt it didn't shoot up into the bar, or the pool, or the lifeguard chairs, or the bridge...
For reference, there's be beach, then there's an inlet so there's a bridge, then to the right there's a bar and to the right of The bar theres a pool.

We are also lucky we weren't using the one called red devil. Those are like the real fireworks. Like, the artillerey shell ones.

So I went back this morning. It was lowtide, and I found the craters. Somehow because of the craters it caused a new (tiny) inlet to form. Kind of cool how we inadvertently changed the way the beach looked with 4 explosions haha
