I'm in the 1-2% due to circumstance myself, but I'd trade it all for a resource based humanitarian society. Or a few if that's what happens.

My parents are in the 1-2 percent, but we also sometimes struggle to make ends meet. And to make that money, my parents are usually working the weekends too. But if ur 60k plus, u should be doing fine unless ur goin out spending on stuff u don't need

When I searched this on google, I found the following:
Top 1% - earns 380k
Top 5% - 159k
Top 10% - 113k
Top 25% - 67k
Top 50% - 33kThis is per capita in USA.
In terms of my personal opinion on the question. I consider 50k a "Good / decent" income.
To me 100k is still the old standard of making a lot of money. Just my two cents
