Secondly, they don't "become" homosexual, they just realize that they are attracted to the same gender. It can take a while, since in society it is the norm for a man to love a woman and vice versa, and so as you're growing, up most people assume they will be the same. So it can take some time for them to realize that they are attracted to their own gender because you wouldn't completely realize it until you're at the age where you start to actually be attracted to people (not just a kiddie crush) and they may not realize that their feelings are different than everyone else's.
Of course, I'm not homosexual myself, this is just what I've been told, so if I'm incorrect or misinformed or something, feel free to correct me. 😊
