I'm kinda upset, I was looking forward to Breaking Bad, also hope they stream all episodes online if this situation doesn't get figured out.

Viacom is being the ass. They specifically took down their free online programming after directtv refused to pay a 30% increase in fees. Directtv on the other hand gave their customers all the encore channels for free because of this.

Directv told its customers to watch streaming episodes so Viacom took them all down.

I'm pissed too - comedy central, spike, and AMC are staples. And the kids love Nick. The worst part about this is the DVR goes on recording blacked out shows with the direcTV emblem and it bumps all my other recorded shows from before the contract ended. So now I have hours and hours of useless recordings clogging up my DVR.

I like charter they have a HORRIBLE UI but good free on demand shows cheap and super fast Internet.

What? Direct dropped Viacom? Sweet! Where do I sign up?

Viacom has been the source of crap TV since MTV changed the M from Music to Moron.

Direct customers should be happy that their bill is not going to go up for this crap, because if they allowed it, soon other worthless TV would raise their rates, and everyone would pay $300 for crap like 16 and Pregnant.

Good riddance Viacom.

AMC is Viacom, and that channel has Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Mad Men and others. Comedy Central is also Viacom (luckily south park is all on the web for free). But it's not just "A microcosm of why the terrorists hate us" TV (MTV), there's some actual enjoyable shows there too. They just don't happen to be on MTV.

I complained to Viacom. I usually watch the daily show and Colbert report, so this really sucks. It seems like viacom is just being greedy.

First of all it does suck that quiet a few channels were taken of the air by a greedy corporation. Now as far as I've read in this thread about AMC been also off. That is incorrect since I have DTV and I will be watching Breaking Bad this Sunday evening.

I just checked - we do have AMC still as a DirecTV subscriber. Happy to be incorrect on this one. Breaking Bad ftw!
