You know that I has to be one of the founding fathers or Reagan. They would easily put America back into it's former glory!

I think Jfk would be best because on top of being a good president he would understand the modern world much better than Washington, Jefferson, or even FDR. As much as we need someone to be FDR and lead us out of our depression, FDR unfortunatly would just not understand how the word works.

FDR didn't lead us out of the depression, unless you are saying he secretly propped up Hitler and Mussolini so we could enter WW2

Natalie, Pre-WWII new deal policies were actually effectively combating the great depression. WWII did end the depression, but without FDR's new deal policies, the US would not have been able to enter WWII due to the crippling depression.

That's debatable, if you look at the GDP numbers and unemployment numbers immediately after the new deal, leading right up to WW2, they never really recover (unemployment never dropped below 8% and was actually back on the rise until WW2)

The founding fathers, Washington in particular had grand plans for the country and a solid plan to achieve it. He also put the good of the nation before his own personal agenda. That's something we could use today.

Then again I've always liked Monroe.
