No More Dead Zones?

Reading about beta geocoder (soon to be future geocoder) it seems to say no more dead zones?
I think Addi recently had a post about someone having some great strategies using dead zones in ancient Nola war.
Point is aren't dead zones key aspect of game?
I could be reading this completely wrong. But question is are Dead Zones going away?

I hope so I'm stuck in a few places lol
-
Yes. I turned on the beta tester and almost all dead zones are gone.
-
Looks like all shopping centers, golf courses, fed ex centers, etc are gone as well.
Sigh. I guess two of the limited strategy components of the game heading off into the sunset.

The no dead spots will change the game. And u don't have to plant next to a street. Think Alaska is opening up soon...

No more shopping center capos? Twisted Decaf will sure be pissed

Again taking away from the gps aspect by making it easier for players to get wherever they want. I Should be able to catch up to swagger and doux on the Alaska hop fairly quickly. That's just sad, all that hard work people like swagger, doux and others did to get to far off locations just goes up in smoke.

Sounds shit. It was a pain sometimes having to follow roads, but it beats planting anywhere.B✖dϻrҒr✖stʏ wrote:

What about water turfs? -

I can confirm that strategy, I was a part of it. We would blockade the bridges and narrow crossings along the river trying to keep Bugs out.Reading about beta geocoder (soon to be future geocoder) it seems to say no more dead zones?

It would suck if there were no dead zones...the map would be flat and no areas would be unique. I don't think it would be the right fix for airports. Just make the entire green circle around airports valid but keep dead zones.

Dang it. Home depot is my fort, they can't do this! Let's start an uprising. If anyone knows the admins in this game, let's

It still tells me to plant near a highway in some areas. I try to plant it right on interstate 71 and still get that message.

Can we place turfs in oceans?

Just checked the bridge to PEI and it appears the entire bridge registers as water turf.

It looks like moscows open now.

This is BULLshit. Dead zones should make you get off your ass and go somewhere, then plant a turf. It shouldn't be about equality between travelers and non travelers. It's a gangster game. F level playing field. In regards to geocoder, I better stock up on malls, schools, metro stations, po dunk airports, and playground capos NOW.

And the final vestiges of pseudo-GPS are falling. I hope the dev team remembers to at least change the app icon so it also loses the GPS and no one is confused. It needs to just be advertised as a war game. Airports were the killing shot, changes like this are just the Coup de Gras to the aspect us longer time players originally fell in love with.

Unfortunately I do agree with him in this case.

If it ain't broke...

Now people can hop across (water?) to get to places without being capped?

No. You can't place turf as far out on the water with the beta geocoder than you can with the current one.Now people can hop across (water?) to get to places without being capped?

Coming from someone that has hopped from Florida to Canada I say keep the dead zones. There are ways around it. You might not be able to take he shortest route but does everything in life need to be so easy? A little effort goes a long way.
And, btw, I agree with Saba. 😜

I think there could be some gps openings in some 3rd world countries if that's possible. Otherwise, I agree.
