What are your thoughts/discoveries on the new Geocoder?

I found out you can't place turf on water now 😓

Don't care much about putting turf in water,when i took some road trips recently i got the geocoder error message when i tried to plant turf.I haven't tried with the new up date but i think it is awesome that they updated this.All apps are always work in progress,people are so used to getting things instsntly like fast food.😉

I still can't place turfs on the toll highway east of Orlando airport. I've stalled 10 miles east of the damn thing

You won't be able to place turf with the new Geocoder. You have to turn it off to place turf

Thanks nick, I didn't even see that there, but it explained everything. I like how it can be turned on and off, so I'll be updating and providing feedback for it when possible

I'm trying it and I love it. I love how fast the map refreshes the turf.

Eliminates bugs, dead zones, misplaced cities, faster loading turf (for me it seems like it is :P), you don't have to place a turf as close to a street as you did before, and it's a great chance to help improve the game. If you update turfwars it doesn't turn the new Geocoder on. If you go to the announcements and tap the Geocoder button it has instructions on how to turn it on and more about it.

There is still dead zones. I updated and just hit one. Maybe it'll lessen the number of dead zones, but they still exist.

I tried planting around the Moscow and Tokyo airports and they both worked great. So it'll at least take care of the real problematic areas.

What you don't understand is the Geocoder is not automatically turned on. You have to turn it on first. Maybe that'll help your dead zone

I do understand that. I turned it on. In regular plant mode you can't plant around either one of those airports. They're both massive dead zones. It says "must build near a street or highway" when it's right on a street. With the geocoder on it goes into plant mode but says I don't have a valid plane ticket. Which I don't. I wouldn't be able to plant regardless because the beta doesn't allow for actual turf placement. But in theory it works fine. I ain't no scrub nadarrah now go hug a cactus 👉
