I had around 30 toolboxes. I read this post and went to equip multiple. It told me the max I could equip was 10. I saved the 10 equipped, did a job until I got loot. Went to check and it had consumed all 10 boxes. I am back to loading one box at a time. Just FYI you might lose your boxes if you equip multiples.
