Who is interested in mythological theory? I don't recall anyone else talking about it much here. Although on the contrary, I'd like to find out if any of my fellow turfers are interested in such things.

I'm an odinist wich I believe in not the Christian god but many gods of old as in Odin freyja Frey Thor etc etc the storys behind them are much more believable than that of one mans not as much as the thunder and everything but I have a lot of info on this peticular subject

I love reading about Greek mythology. It's really hard to pick a fave, but I would probably have to go with Prometheus and the Fire.

Roman God: Jupiter
Egyptian God: Serqet or Apophis
Norse God: Hel

Greek Hero: Perseus
Norse Hero: Brunhilde

Prometheous was a great tale...Also the stories of the Titans..Hades seems to be the most emotionally controversial...If I had to choose, I would prefer the god Apollo, since I am similar to him. Or Cupid 😽

I do a ton of reading on myth. Possibly my favorite long term subject of study.
You read (or watched) The Power of Myth and Hero of a Thousand Faces, by Joseph Campbell?
