In 4 days I'll be flying to va and the plane I'll be on will have wifi so I was wondering if I could randomly plop new turf down as I fly ?

Hmmm. I don't think so. From what I've heard it goes back to the airport.

Some airplanes connect to cell towers so you may be detected in different places.
Since planes fly to many different airports it wouldn't make sense technically to keep the wifi linked with the airport the whole time, it's most likely not even possible. They may have it setup for a proxy so your location might not change, but it shouldn't stay at the airport. If it does it's probably because the IP address on the plane won't be determined.

Alot of it goes to Atlanta but ull pay a pretty penny for that WIFI connection. It's like $10.
