Another great actor gone😓.
Had the honor of meeting him once. He was so friendly and down to earth that if you didn't already know that he was a major Star you might not realize who he was. There wasn't any of today's Star attitude of entitlement.
Thankfully they live on thru their works.

Yup, McHale's Navy. Borgnine seemed to turn up on TV and in movies everywhere you looked during the 60s' and 70's. One of his ex-wives wrote a tell all book on her ex-husbands. Borgnine's chapter was a single blank page.

I changed my name before I heard he died. Turns out it is a fitting tribute to a great supporting actor. The Dirty Dozen is still one of my favorite movies. I also loved Airwolf as a kid.

I remember him in his nineties telling a host his secret to longevity was...to pleasure himself daily. Escape from New York, indeed! RIP!
