Some tech websites are reporting that Apple are bringing to release date for the iPhone 5 to August this year.
Anyone got reliable information?

Anyone ever notice how new Apple device rumors eventually become fact?

Even though it's astronomically against the odd when comparing other popular devices/products?

Yeah I'm gonna bet on a iPhone 5 by the end of the summer. But amazon might release their kindle phone around then too! Interesting.

They said at wwdc (sp?) that there's no iPhone 5 coming. They're releasing iOS 6 instead. Unless they lied as a marketing ploy.

Yeah i heard they will push it to first quater next year,in order to install the desired mod:flame thrower.

I heard from Verizon and Msnbc that it's thought to be released mid oct. To early nov.
But no apple conventions have been scheduled yet that I can find.... Keep a look out for it that's when u know somethings coming out

I heard October, it's longer but slimmer, abs I heard that it has a smaller charging port and the headphone jack will be on the bottom

iOS6 was announced at the annual meeting a few weeks ago.

There have been a few site showing pictures of what is supposedly the back plate to a new iPhone, there have been blueprints posted as well.

It's been predicted that the 3rd quarter of this year will have a new apple phone on the shelves so I wouldn't put it past them.

The iPhone has an average update cycle of 298 days. This means about every 298 days a new iPhone is released. The iPhone 4s was released 278 days ago. This leads me to believe that a new iPhone should be on the way.

I'm no expert but it doesn't make sense for Apple to put out a new phone until 4G technology is better. If they put out another 3G no one will care and 4G is too much of a battery hog. The pics of the "new iPhone" body makes sense with the relocated antenna, bigger screen, and bottom headphone jack... But the new dock connector better be true- there's too many items reliant on the current dock.

Apple has already stated that they are not releasing a new iPhone till next year. Instead they are updating to ios6

Can someone just tell them to hurry up please, delaying upgrading (from 4) as know it's on the horizon.

Should get to see it late August early September ww release mid October, have to release it before Xmas to smash sales in 1st two months.

Although if looks like image I've see I will go to 4s not 5 (but hoping it wasn't the real phone)!!

You can still play via wifi or use your new phone as a wifi access point.

My guess is oct this year or mar/apr next year depending on the ability to develop he phone and depending on available technology.
