I know there's a lot of people out there who enjoy anything sci fi. Out of amazing sci fi franchises like Star Wars, Mass Effect, Star Trek, Alien, Predator, which ones really stand out to you? And on a side note, how did everyone like prometheus? (if you've seen it, I plan on seeing it)

Tbh, prometheus was kind of a bummer imo.
I expected something totally different, and it was so predictable near the end.

As for si-fi... I like most movies/series except a few ofc, but im a huge fan of the written way of si-fi, as in books...

I have devoured a ton of them by now, and im thinking about picking it back up after a break of a coupme of months

Man I kinda got my hopes up for Prometheus. That sucks, I expected something original. I get originality is something hard to come by these days, but a lot of companies have pulled it off in the past few years.

Star wars and Star Trek are on different levels than mass effect 😒

Star wars and trek. And Predator 1 the rest suck.

And Prometheus was a good film. I really enjoyed it. Just totally forget about any of the alien films when seeing this Becuase it's not really supposed to be linked

I beg to differ. Mass Effect is still one of the best and ORIGINAL sci fi franchises. Mass Effect is really awesome and touches a lot of places other sci fi movies games or universe never have.
