Really?! A star trek/star wars "which is better" post? Seriously?! As if I don't feel like enough of a dork watching my favorite re-runs of star trek, now I come into GD and feel like a dork. Thanks. *eye roll

Okay so what are the two most powerful weapons in both franchises? For star wars the death star or in the comtinued universe the galaxy gun. For star trek the most powerful thing there is the v'ger. Compared powerwise the galaxy gun is far more powerful. Also star wars has a greater fanbase and has earned more money than star trek. Star trek however is for a more intellectual fanbase while star wars is for a fanbase that likes adventures. We should all however focus on the greater threat of twilight! Set Phasers to destroy vampires!

Star wars had legendary movies that provided hours of entertainment.Star trek had movies too but also had an ongoing show that provided months of entertainment.
