He recognized evil and wasn't afraid to call it evil. He inspired his country to stand and fight against that evil.

I'll come back through the door now 🏃|
As political figureheads go I would have to say Aung San Suu Kyi or Nelson Mandela.

Communism is a failed ideology. Every communist/socialist gov has failed history proves this to be factual. Just look at the living standards in any communist country then compare it to ours. Capitalism is what has made this country what it is and provided a very high standard of living for all Americans. Communism/socialism sucks donkey scrotums and is for little sissy's afraid to accept responsibility for their own lives.Gorbachev; good communist.
Dostoyevsky; C&P is a fav 📖
Karl Marx (Socialism and communism is more fair for the working class. capitalism is über flawed and easily corruptible for the top & I agree)
Socialism? No
There's plenty of successful socialist countries, like Canada, for example. -

Actually, most of what you mentioned isn't religion, it's the human corruption of it through greed and hubris.Eurs Kweik wrote:
Actually, I remembered to exclude religion. It has given the world: crusades, the Spanish inquisition, the dark ages, 9/11, arranged marriages, oppressing women and gays, human sacrifice, witch trials & burnings, rape resulting in marriage (Deuteronomy 22 something, forget the actual quote) suicide bombing, rules for slavery and selling people as property, circumsicion, discrimination against atheists, and child rape by priests.Someone forgot to mention religion...
It can give you comfort and faith in higher power, but don't use it to rule the world. -

Communism is working for China?
Tell that to the people killed in Tiananmen square. Tell that to the Christians, Muslims and Buddhists who are not permitted to worship as they wish. Tell that to the Chinese people who cannot freely access information because the government censors the newspapers, tv, radio and internet.

Actually, that is not at all the case, the chinese government is in some severe turmoil. There have been scandalous attempts at power grabbing, while repressing ethnicities, and now they are losing money like crazy.Walrus Breath wrote:

China may well supplant the US as the world's economic powerhouse. If she does that will be inspite of her communist government, not because of it.
China has opened many areas in the country to more of Capitalist system than a Communist system. Those areas are the driving force behind the Chinease economy, not the areas run as Communist.

George Washington. Very few men would have walked away when he did. He could have ruled as long as he wanted but stuck to his principles and walked away on top. We could not have had a better founding father

Capitalism doesn't work so well either; have you read grapes of wrath? It's boring, but it shows the manipulative and unfair power the rich buy for themselves, leaving the poor to struggle and suffer. Since greed is inevitable with every political and economic system, there is no way to define perfection when it comes to that topic.✂

Well one of the toughest Americans to date. The one who crossed a freezing river in the middle of the night on Christmas to cut the throats of the Hessians and British. My man George Washington of course.

I admire the figure of Anni.
Not who your thinking of, either.
This Anni is my beautiful Chinese girlfriend 😉
