You gotta love 'em. If you're bored you may find this entertaining.

My friend's cat had kittens, and last night was her open house, so a couple of us went looking for them. They hang out in the bushes and the porch, but it was really dark and we could barely see.

There were two kittens left (the rest had been adopted already), a black one and a black and white one. Well those things were frickin ninjas, and we did not catch one. So after a while of standing in the garden getting eaten by bugs, we gave up.

It was about 11 at this time. I said my goodbyes, and as I was walking up to my car, I thought I'd just peek around their porch to see if the kittens were there.

And there they were! Curled up in a cute little bundle on a rocking chair. I snuck up on them, but one jumped away. The black kitten stayed though, so I quickly reached out and grabbed him before he could escape.

This tiny kitten growled really loudly at me, and it was kind of scary to hear such a huge, vicious sound coming from such a cute, tiny body. He was totally freaking out and squirming around and going absolutely ape-apsh!t. It was like I'd snatched a midget tiger.

I held him by his scruff, which generally makes them stop struggling. I tried to calm him down, because I'd obviously scared the living sh!t out of him, but he'd already scratched me up. Eventually he calmed down, and I released him once he was more relaxed. I felt bad for scaring him 😞

Well, I drove home, and my arm was stinging. I knew he had scratched me (and kitten claws are the worst) but I had no idea what the extent of the damage was until I got home and turned on the light.

My arm now looks like I had a violent encounter with a cheese grater.

I was attacked by a kitten😓

Where did you get that scar?

Well it happened in the summer of '88 and I was off on a confidental mission and well if there's one thing you need to know about the jungles of the Congo....

The second one is better and more convincing, kittens don't attack people😉

I swear, if you're from /r/aww i'm gonna personally hop to you and take all your turf and make you reset.

If not, ignore that statement and replace it with "I love kittens too 😄😄😄 My aunt just got some and we taught them how to walk up the stairs. 🐱🐱👍👍"

Imagine telling somebody those cuts all over your arm were from a kitten attack :D

I'm more of a dog person but I live cats when they earn their keep. We have a 20 year old cat that used to be the best mouser until recently when her arthritis has made it to difficult. We adopted a kitten that is now just over a year old and has taken over that duty. Just this morning I found four dead mice by the dog door. Makes me so proud! 😊

I grew up with cats. That's probably why I'm a real cat person. Although I'm a nature and animal freak in general.

We just got a kitten yesterday, when you tickle his belly and say hands up he puts his paws up then nibbles your finger☺
