One year ago today I lost a good friend of mine beside me in Afghanistan, Technical Seargant Daniel "P-Nut" Douville. Please take a moment out of your day to remember our Fallen heroes. TSgt Doucille was killed while disarming an Improvised Explosive Device. We Remember.

He served his country and that is great. Now he can rest knowing he served. Maybe not as much or maybe more than he expected but he served and paid the ultimate sacrifice and that is worth an honor few people outside of the military can probably grasp as they do.

RIP to all the brave men and women who have fallen. Freedom isn't free. It's paid for in the blood of these exceptionally brave individuals. I tip my hat to each and every one of our soldiers, past and present, here and gone. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Sorry to hear that ... Try to remember the good moments he would want you to. My brother in law is over there now , have not heard from him for a few weeks now.

It takes a special kind of person to do that stuff. I was out at the grenade range a few weeks ago and had a dud. We called EOD and they showed up in t-shirts, walked right up to it, picked it up to read the serial or lot number off of it and set it back down and threw some c4 on top of it. I'm coming up on the 4th anniversary of losing 9 guys in one day. God bless!
