Life Is really kicking my ass lately

So I'm sorry in advance to make a complaint thread but honestly life's really giving me the beat down these past couple weeks, I've been trying to keep a positive outlook on things, but it seems my lifestyle meets Murphy's law to a tee. I know it could be a lot worse indefinitely, hence why I have so much respect for people who are in say a position like Sara is, gets some of the worst news you can get but still is so happy and inspiring its amazing, I am envious of that I just don't know where to find that kind of strength to be honest and to get away from it I've been thinking of just moving away and starting over. Once again sorry for the rant just needed it off my chest.

It's good to have a rant. Take things one step at a time. Sending you positive energy buddy.

Dude. I feel ya. I promise. It's hard to get overwhelmed when you have a brain. It makes you feel guilty. You look at other who have it worse and handle it better and you think "I have no reason to be upset". But everyone has to play the hand that they are dealt and work with what they got. Good luck man๐.

Shooting things (if you are able to get to a range or appropriate area) or a few rounds in the batting cage or really pushing it on a run or almost anything beyond sitting around dwelling on it all can really help. Followed up by some good time with friends or even your post.... healthy stuff.
Sometimes life is like a box of chocolates - with sand in some, rocks in others and then every so often shards of glass. You just gotta get though it cause there is good stuff ahead.
-
No offense Otto, but if your box of chocolates contains rocks, sand and shards of glass. Then you need to be suing someone or go to a different company.
-
Actually I don't know why I posted that.

When I'm feeling low I take it out on my punch bag or push harder at the gym, it releases endorphins that puts you in a better mood!
-
Nothing wrong with a little venting. Keep your chin up dude. Life hits lows. It'll pick back up. Just gotta keep a positive outlook. Which is easier said then done sometimes. I'll send some good juju your way bud โ

I've been through hell these past few weeks and the only thing that got me through it was positive thoughts. I know it's a long shot, but believe in yourself and find a place that brings everything back. Kick back, grab a beer or a book n chill.

I know things suck sometimes. And they suck right now for ya. I've had a few bouts of super suck in the not to distant past. Exercising helped more than I could tell you. Trust me on that.

Lol. The last time I tried to sue life it didn't really go that well. When you wake up without a job, rent due, wife/girlfriend yelling at you and bad news from the Dr.... a hazzelnut-glass-truffle doesn't sound that bad ;-)
On the guns - up to the person. I've had some really wonderful days pouring hot lead into watermelons, paper targets and pop cans. I get that it isn't for everyone but for me, an hour with a 12 gauge and 30 rounds of double ought beats a month with a shrink.
-
Awww, I sure hope life is looking up for you very soon. Sorry to hear its the suckage right now. Forget being inspiring. Sara is a one in a million. People like you and I might just be ordinary people. Sara is a shining goddess.
Sending you many hugs and positive thoughts that things will turn the corner very soon.

Thanks appreciate the thought I really do but I have way to much respect to absent mindedly throw my own life away especially when it's something to be cherished. I know things eventually will get better but the waiting is tough and it wears on a guy after a while. And I'm not exactly a kid hahahaOttoNorse wrote:

Vent here anytime. It's always a nice surprise to find those that understand what you mean. Glad it's helping! ๐๐But thank you very much to everyone I feel a lot better after reading this thread you guys are awesome! Thanks again

Venting, batting cages and go-karts. Last bastion of hope for the victims of life's little funsies.

Mine too. Hope yours get better. Most time it does. Hang in there. Life sucks sometimes. It will get better. Love peace.
