If you're in the mood for something different, check out eluvietie. Swiss folk metal band with male and female vocalists. You probably won't understand most of their lyrics because they're writing in a dead Celtic language called Gaulish. Interesting sound nonetheless.

You probably don't like paramore judging by what you listen to, but IMO hayley Williams is an amazing vocalist. But you might want to check out the band Tonight Alive. Their lead singer is good. I believe theyre playing warped tour this year

I too have a thing for rock/metal female vocalist. The best way to find more similar artists is to use radio apps or websites like pandora, slacker, or last fm.
Just type in the artist and it will find similar bands and sounds. It's been the best way I've found to locate great bands I've never heard of. I think google used to also have a similar music site but I don't remember if it made it out of beta.

Fuck yeah HEART!!! I used to be in an all female cover band and we all sang and we used to argue over who was gonna have to do vocals bc there is no way you can do any heart song justice wo sounding like shit. They are so talented

Also.... I saw a concert w garbage, no doubt and the distillers when i was like 14. It was amazing.... And the distillers were actually pretty good live, that bitch Brody can scream
