So it got me thinking.....

The double slit theory...😜 .. Is not what it sounds like. I'll give you a VERY quick brief.
When matter is fired at a sheet with a double slit through the middle, sometimes they will go through one or the other... Or both at the same time.
You're probably thinking wtf?!? as the particle would have to split just before it goes through the slits, the crazy bit tho...... When its observed, the electrons act normal, they go through either of the holes without splitting.
I ask you one question... Can matter change, depending on wether or not it's being watched?
-
I didn't bother to read anymore about this untill I had figured out a reason why. My theory was the same as many others have suggested.
The matter can change wether or not it's being observed and it's about luck or probability that you'll catch it acting as a wave rather than a particle. When you're not observing, who knows what it is doing.

Nobody cares

I don't care if nobody else cares. Your parents didn't love you enough that's why you need to repent your Hate to a forum where nobody else loves or knows you. Your life is that miserable you decide to copy an Internet word associated with children's books. Someday you'll grow up.

I'm not into nuclear physics, but if I had to guess, I would say the strong nuclear force pulls it back together as long as the separation isn't wide enough. Similar to how magnets will quickly link together if they are close enough.

It's quantum mechanics, but that does make some sense. As the matter is fired, it tries to retract as well as push so it splits. As it comes to the slits, it has to make a decision, but it reacts in another way when it comes to going through either by splitting. Why doesn't it always do this tho?I'm not into nuclear physics, but if I had to guess, I would say the strong nuclear force pulls it back together as long as the separation isn't wide enough. Well you just lost your right to criticize anyone else's thread ever. You sound hateful. Here have a virtual hug, you seem short on hugs right now.I don't care if nobody else cares. Criticise doesn't necessarily fall under the same category as spiteful attack. A hug would be nice tho :(
Just a shame no one else shares a passion for quantum or molecular mechanics.

2. This is a damn iDevice game. How many quantum pr molecular physicists do you think play this game?
3. I'm sure that there are places where you could actually have an intelligent discussion of this manner, but you came here to try to do it because, in reality, you don't know what you are talking about and would get laughed out of more relevant forums.
4. Your response to the guy above clearly showed everyone that you are a child who likes attention and showing off. Maybe you have an inferiority complex.

Tweek.
I'm not smart, I just enjoy reading and learning about new subjects. I'm going to university to study robot mechanics as I do not posses the mental capacity to endure a full lecture about quantum mechanics.I wasn't asking if anyone studied in the subject, just simply asking a question which anyone could answer if they thought about it.
In reality, I do have discussions, not just about quantum mechanics but around different subjects. Family and friends, whoever has a brain, whoever is interested in how everything is everything.
You can believe I'm a child all you like, but I've seen many others posting "childish things"

Its probably random depending on where it strikes the target, the atom just takes the path of least resistance
-
The reason I posted this here, was simply sharing something I was interested in. I'm not asking for you to argue how long a piece of strong is, I was just aiming it at someone who also reads/learns about it.

If this post bothers anyone then I'll delete it and anyone who wants to discuss what I've posted about can message me.

You realize the entire principal of quantum mechanics is that is not directly observable, right? And the fact that there is no way to prove any of it, so theories based on quantum mechanics are doubly flawed.

The way you put it makes it sound like quantum mechanics is shrouded in mystery. While it is not 100% solved, we have a good idea what is going on and this is supported by mathematical models. You realize the entire principal of quantum mechanics is that is not directly observable, right? An interferometer inserted at around 20-60ns could measure it. Agree with what Natalie said, with every quantum theory comes a string theory of mathematical equations

I really doubt that if somebody is staring at it, it will somehow go through both slits.

I've gotta get some sleep, 2 in the morning and my partners kicking me. Message me if you'd like to carry this on.
