A report in today's Sun newspaper has hinted that if Glasgow Rangers are refused reentry into the Scottish Premier League that they are considering buying Bury Football Club.

This would allow them into the English first division and potentially just two seasons from the English Premier League.

Celtic would compete in premiership mid / low table though...

True, Rangers are a good club in a league of OK teams. I'd expect them to struggle in the English leagues.
